- 7,000 more missing and likely dead

- 85% of the population of Gaza is displaced (1.9 million people)
- 65,000 residential units destroyed or rendered uninhabitable
- 2/3 of all structures in the north of Gaza destroyed
- 500,000 people have no home to return to
- 23 of 36 hospitals had been rendered completely inoperable
- 104 schools (70%) destroyed or sustained major damage
- 79 journalists killed
- 7% of the pre-war water supply
- 1 shower for every 4,500 people
- 1 toilet for every 220 people
- 142 UNRWA workers killed
- 128 UN buildings damaged
- 1 in 4 households at risk of starvation
Finally, there are about 700,000 people in the world currently facing catastrophic hunger; 577,000 of them are in Gaza.
